If you have a sore and bloated stomach due to poor digestion, mix one tablespoon of aloe vera gel with one teaspoon of calendula oil and three drops of sweet orange essential oil. Mix well and rub on your stomach in a clockwise direction.

Just starting out with aromatherapy? Just use one oil that you love and use only a few drops in the diffuser, this will avoid creating an overpowering aroma in the room

Don't throw out your old oranges - cut them in half and rub them on your elbows, knees or heels as a great light exfoliator.

Use coconut oil as a natural shaving cream for your legs and it moisturises at the same time!

Dry Elbows, Knees or Heels? Cut an orange in half and rub on the rough area. The orange helps to exfoliate and soften the skin. Rinse off with warm water and follow with a good natural moisturiser. Enjoy!

After dinner, put your finished lemon quarters in the top drawer of the dishwasher to freshen up the smell in the machine.

Use a piece of scrunched up aluminium foil to clean rusty metal. It really does work!

Rinsing your hair in cold water is said to help prevent dandruff.

Fly away hair? Use jojoba oil as a natural alternative to chemical oils and sprays. Just rub a small amount into your hands and apply the flat of the hand lightly over the top of your hair. Adds shine and stops fly away.
